Vartan Kelechian

Vartan was born on June 22, 1979 in Beirut to an Armenian father and a Lebanese mother. It was through his father amateur photography that he developed, at a very early age, a great sense of visual aesthetic. His mom who was also a great support undeniably fed his curiosity and desire to observe attentively and see his surroundings differently.

He started his photographer’s journey using his dad’s ‘Canomatic’ camera. In 2003, he purchased his first Canon EOS 300D, and his undying passion for this art started then. Almost 15 years later the clarity and drive needed to continue on this difficult journey are still shining bright.

Each picture Vartan takes tells its own story and he still thrives hard to show the difference that most of us fail to see when looking at a particular object or human being.
